The Everest Base Camp Trek is one of the most iconic and exhilarating trekking adventures in Nepal’s Himalayas. This 16-day journey takes you through breathtaking landscapes to the foot of Mount Everest, the highest peak on Earth, soaring above 8,800 meters. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience for nature lovers and trekking enthusiasts alike.

3 Hours Before Flight Time
Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to your hotel. Depending on arrival time, you can explore the nearby area or rest at the hotel. In the evening, meet your guide for a welcome dinner and briefing.
Take a scenic flight to Lukla, where your trek begins. Start walking alongside the Dudh Kosi River, passing small villages and forests, before arriving at Phakding for your overnight stay.
Trek through beautiful pine forests and cross several suspension bridges. After a steep final climb, arrive at the vibrant Sherpa town of Namche Bazaar, your gateway to the Everest region.
Spend the day exploring Namche to adjust to the altitude. Optional hike to Khumjung or Everest View Hotel offers stunning mountain views, including Everest and Ama Dablam.
Hike through rhododendron forests and enjoy breathtaking views of Everest and Lhotse. After a riverside lunch, climb up to Thyangboche, home to the region’s most famous monastery.
Continue your journey past Pangboche village and enjoy views of Ama Dablam. After a relaxing lunch at Shomare, hike to Dingboche, a quiet village nestled in the high Himalayas.
Take a day hike to Chukkung in the scenic Imja Valley for more altitude adaptation. Enjoy panoramic views of Island Peak, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam before returning to Dingboche.
Start your day with a gradual climb up the Khumbu Valley to the small settlement of Dughla. Take an optional hike to the nearby Chola Tso Lake for stunning glacier views.
Climb to Thokla Pass and pass memorials for Everest climbers. Continue along the Khumbu Glacier’s edge to reach Lobuche, surrounded by majestic peaks.
Trek across rocky terrain to Gorak Shep, then continue to Everest Base Camp (5364m). Spend time at the base of the world’s highest peak before heading back to Gorak Shep.
Climb Kala Patar early for breathtaking sunrise views of Everest. Begin your descent via Lobuche and Pheriche to the charming village of Pangboche.
Take a scenic trail to the traditional village of Phortse, offering a quiet alternative to the main route. Cross the Dudh Kosi and climb back to Namche Bazaar for the night.
Descend through forests and villages, crossing the Dudh Kosi multiple times. After a final climb, arrive in Lukla to celebrate the end of your trek.
Fly back to Kathmandu and enjoy the rest of the day exploring the city or relaxing. In the evening, gather for a farewell dinner with your trekking team.
Spare day in case of flight delays from Lukla. If free, explore temples, markets, or local cafés in Kathmandu at your own pace.
After breakfast, transfer to Kathmandu Airport for your return flight home. Optionally, extend your stay in Nepal with more tours or excursions.
