Passu Peak stands tall above the iconic Passu Cones in upper Hunza, offering breathtaking panoramas of the entire Karakoram range — including Batura Wall, Shispare, and Ultar. Although less frequented than other 7-thousanders, Passu Peak is a technical yet achievable climb for experienced mountaineers aiming to scale high in the north.
The approach to base camp is scenic and non-commercialized, taking you through beautiful valleys, traditional Wakhi villages, and dramatic ridgelines. With a combination of remote beauty, challenging ascent, and rich cultural exposure, this expedition is perfect for those seeking a unique high-altitude experience off the beaten path.
