3 Hours Before Flight Time
Altitude: 540 m
Arrive at Islamabad International Airport, where our team will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your hotel. The day is reserved for rest and preparation before your journey into the mountains begins.
Altitude: 1,265 m
Begin your adventure with a scenic drive along the legendary Karakoram Highway. Pass through historic towns such as Abbottabad, Besham, and Dasu, with views of mighty river gorges and rugged Himalayan foothills as you make your way to Chilas.
Altitude: 2,900 m
Depart Chilas and continue toward Astore Valley, navigating a rugged jeep track to reach Tarashing — a peaceful village nestled among alpine forests and meadows. This is your gateway to the Rupal Valley and the trek ahead.
Altitude: 3,600 m | Trek Duration: 3–5 hours
Your trek begins with a gentle walk across farmlands and a crossing of the Tarashing Glacier. Arrive at Herrligkoffer Base Camp, located beside the Bazhin Glacier, with spectacular views of the Raikot and Chongra peaks.
Altitude: 3,650 m | Trek Duration: 5–7 hours
Traverse the icy terrain of the Bazhin Glacier to reach Latobah — a dramatic base camp set directly beneath the towering 5,000-meter Rupal Face of Nanga Parbat, one of the world’s most awe-inspiring mountain walls.
Altitude: 3,700 m | Trek Duration: 3–5 hours
Continue your journey towards Shaigiri, a stunning viewpoint at the glacier’s edge. The Rupal Wall dominates the skyline, offering one of the most unforgettable panoramas of the entire trek.
Trek Duration: 5 hours
Retrace your steps to Latobah at a relaxed pace, allowing more time to enjoy the remote beauty of the valley. The trail features moderate ascents and descents with constant views of the surrounding peaks.
Trek Duration: 7–8 hours
Descend through the Rupal Valley, taking in its serene landscapes one last time before returning to Tarashing. Overnight in a local guesthouse or camp.
Journey back through the Astore Valley, passing through alpine scenery and remote hamlets. Arrive in Chilas by evening and settle in for the night.
A long drive back to Islamabad along the Karakoram Highway. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and enjoy a relaxing evening in the capital.

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before your transfer to the airport for your international departure. Hotel check-out is at 12:00 PM.
These expeditions are within extreme high altitude environments, with differing requirements when it comes to the ability needed. Due to the nature of the elements involved, you must provide concise, honest descriptions of relevant experience and current fitness levels. Upon receipt, we will review your experience and respond accordingly. At this point, if we consider there to be any shortfalls, we can collectively discuss the opportunities and/or provide a training support plan to achieve your goals.
Yes. We guarantee a 1:1 guide to client ratio on every expedition, with four additional climbing Sherpas acting as reserves, ready to chip in if needed. This helps ensure the highest safety standards.
We can provide full office facilities at basecamp, including Wi-Fi. Satellite phones are also available throughout the expedition for emergency and essential comms.
All communal equipment is included ie. high quality ropes, stoves, tents etc. You are responsible for personal gear and clothing, eg. harness, crampons, helmet, ice axes etc. A full essentials list and advice (if required) will be provided at time of booking.
