3 Hours Before Flight Time
Arrive at Islamabad International Airport, where our team will welcome you and escort you to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you may attend a trek briefing in the evening and enjoy a welcome dinner.
Take a breathtaking flight to Skardu, flying past Nanga Parbat and other peaks if weather allows. Spend the rest of the day resting or walking around town.
Today is reserved for exploration and documentation processing. Visit the historic Kharpocho Fort, stroll through Skardu Bazaar, or take a short trip to Sadpara Lake.
A scenic jeep drive winds through remote valleys, past glaciers and picturesque villages, until you reach Hushe—the last inhabited village and gateway to the trek. The mighty Masherbrum rises dramatically above the village.
The trek begins with a short walk through fertile fields and alongside the Charakusa River. After a few hours, you’ll reach Saicho, surrounded by impressive peaks like K7 and Namika.
Today’s hike ascends gently through alpine pastures and boulder fields with views of Link Sar and the Charakusa Glacier. Camp is set up at Spangsar, a seasonal grazing area used by shepherds.
This is the most adventurous day of the trek. Navigate rocky terrain and glacial paths to reach the base camp, nestled below the massive faces of K6 and K7. The scenery here is simply spectacular.
Spend two full days absorbing the silence and grandeur of the Charakusa Valley. Explore the glacier surroundings, acclimatize, and enjoy views of towering granite walls and icy ridges.
Descend the familiar trail back to Saicho. The easier walk and thicker air will feel like a relief after the high-altitude stay. Enjoy a peaceful night by the river.
After a morning hike back to Hushe, drive along the scenic Shyok and Indus rivers toward Skardu. The return to town includes a warm meal, a shower, and well-earned rest.
This day is kept flexible in case of delays due to weather or permit approvals. Otherwise, use the time to relax, shop for souvenirs, or explore Skardu further.
Take a return flight to Islamabad. If the flight is canceled due to weather, begin the drive to Chilas.
If you had to drive from Skardu, today you’ll complete the journey to Islamabad. If your flight operated as planned, you can spend the day sightseeing in the capital.
After breakfast, our team will transfer you to the airport based on your flight schedule. You may request extra nights in Islamabad if needed.
